Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish
40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion. The most visible component of 40 Days for Life is a constant prayer vigil outside a place where children are aborted. It is a prayerful witness to the clinic's patients and employees, and to the entire community, that evil is in our midst, and that with God's help, it will be defeated. It is the hope that the vigil can be maintained 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A number of people are taking part in saying one decade of the Rosary (one Our Father, 10 Hail Marys and a Glory Be) every day during Lent for a pro-life intention.
Sign-ups for the Living Rosary, for which 20 people combine to be on a rosary team saying one of the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, or Glorious mysteries of the Rosary, are taking place virtually this year through Holy Saturday, April 3rd.
