Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish
Advance Registration No Longer Necessary for Attending Mass.
As of Monday, April 5, 2021, it is no longer necessary to register to attend Mass. We have received permission from the Diocese of Pittsburgh to expand the seating capacities in our churches, and are glad to welcome more attendees to Masses.
Seating at Mass is On a First-Come, First-Served Basis.
For this reason, it's probably a good idea to get to church a little early. If you arrive at church and it is full, you may still listen to the Mass in your vehicle on 89.1 FM in the parking lots at St. Athanasius, St. Sebastian and St. Teresa of Avila churches. If you choose to listen to the Mass in your vehicle, at the Lamb of God, you may put on your mask and enter church to receive Holy Communion. Following Communion, it will be necessary to return to your vehicle.
Parish Religious Organizations May Again Meet in Person.
The COVID Response Team at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish has determined that it is safe for parish organizations and ministries that have religious or spiritual objectives may meet in person. The caveat is that all attendees must wear masks and socially distance.
